After graduating from the University of Miami School of Law, I began my career at the largest law firm in Florida where I won multiple jury trials and participated in successful arbitrations. I began as a plaintiff’s attorney, fighting on behalf of the people in Florida in televised trials against Big Tobacco companies. I have spent months in trial, obtaining verdicts of over $11.76 million while working on additional verdicts worth over $40 million.
In 2016, I founded The Tinstman Law Firm to focus on fighting for the injured in South Florida. Since then, I have obtained over $10 million in settlements and verdicts for my personal injury clients, including a $3.7 million verdict after a two-week brain injury medical malpractice trial. As a trial attorney, lawyers and businesses throughout Florida have brought me in on the eve of trial on some of their largest and most complex cases.
I have been selected for inclusion in Florida Rising Stars multiple years, and I am nationally recognized as one of the top trial advocates in the country. I have lectured at the University of Miami. At present, I serve on the board of the Florida Justice Association. I have also served on the Miami-Dade County Bar Association YLS Executive Committee, and I have chaired the Schools Committee, Judiciary Committee and Fundraising Committee. I am an EAGLE member of the Florida Justice Association and also a member of the Vanguard Committee and the Medical Malpractice Committee of the Florida Justice Association and the American Association of Justice.
